I would never deliberately lead someone on. That’s not only wasting their time, it’s wasting mine. Why continue “talking” to someone if you have no intent on the relationship eventually transcending in to something more? If it’s evident that the person likes you and you don’t feel the same why not make it clear to them? You want everyone on your jock just so you can have options? That’ll inevitably lead to more people getting hurt than necessary. I can understand that you’re just being friendly but there’s a fine line between being friendly and being flirtatious. And flirtatious, yes, I know, people flirt all the time but constantly and with the same person, when you know that person has emotions towards you? Yeah, thought so.
